«Eddie Izzard: Glorious» is Eddie Izzard's live comedy special, released on DVD by Universal Pictures UK in 2004.
The British comedian deploys his trademark surreal, rambling humour here, leaping from classical mythology to everyday life with free association. Among his flights of fancy are a Noah played as Sean Connery, evil giraffes and a flirtatious beekeeper, all with a spontaneity that seems improvised but is measured to the last detail.
Recorded live at the Hammersmith Apollo in London. Region 2 DVD edition, colour and PAL, rated 15 (BBFC).
For ages 15 and over and fans of British humour and absurd stand-up.
