«Easy Rider» is the road movie directed by Dennis Hopper, released in 1969 and starring Peter Fonda, Dennis Hopper and Jack Nicholson, on DVD.
Two bikers cross the southwest and south of the United States in search of freedom, but run into the prejudices and hostility of rural America. A critical portrait of sixties society, the film combines road, music and disillusionment; its tagline sums it up: «a man went looking for America and couldn't find it anywhere».
Distributed by Columbia Pictures. The cover shows the original English tagline and a UK age-rating badge.
For fans of New Hollywood and road movies.
