Will Atenton, a successful editor, quits his job in New York to move with his wife Libby and their two daughters to a seemingly idyllic house in a small New England town. However, they soon discover that the house was the scene of a terrible crime and that its former inhabitants might still be present. Atenton embarks on a disturbing investigation to uncover the truth behind the events, facing a reality much darker than he ever imagined. Directed by Jim Sheridan and starring Daniel Craig, Naomi Watts, and Rachel Weisz, this psychological thriller keeps the viewer on edge with an oppressive atmosphere and unexpected twists.
