«Dispongo de barcos» is the film by Juan Cavestany (2010), starring Antonio de la Torre, Roberto Álamo and Andrés Lima, on DVD.
Four men wander through a strange city without wanting to meet, hearing distant voices; their missed encounter becomes a reunion and a common past surfaces. They all need to escape their isolation. A fragmentary, dreamlike tale about loneliness and urban disconnection, with a surrealist, minimalist tone.
Runs 70 minutes, with 1.78:1 picture and Dolby Digital 5.1 sound in Spanish; English subtitles. DVD region 2, released by Cameo. Not recommended for children under 7.
For those who appreciate a Spanish auteur cinema that is surrealist and far from conventional storytelling.
