«Didier» is the 1997 film by Alain Chabat, starring Jean-Pierre Bacri, Alain Chabat and Josiane Balasko, on DVD.
Jean-Pierre, a football manager in trouble, agrees to look after Didier, a friend's labrador. One night, the dog transforms into a human without losing his canine behaviour. Jean-Pierre decides to use the man-dog's skills to boost his team, in a French comedy that is absurd and endearing.
