Jake Bianski lives in the north of Boston surrounded by friends, most of them Italian. Unable to forget his ex-girlfriend Isabella, his friends organize a date for him with a young woman named Marisa. Convinced that she would never date a "non-Italian", Jake changes his name to "Bianchi" and pretends to be of Italian descent. A romantic comedy full of humor and misunderstandings in the tradition of 'My Big Fat Greek Wedding'.
