A gang of thieves plans a daring bank heist in Los Angeles. After the heist, Murdock, one of the thieves, manages to escape from the police, but is forced to hide the stolen money in a mailbox. The problem arises when he discovers that the mailbox is closed until midnight, forcing him to wait until the mailman arrives. While waiting, he realizes that his hiding place has been discovered by others who also want the loot.
