«Celia» (1992) is the Spanish television series directed by José Luis Borau, starring Cristina Cruz Mínguez, Ana Duato and Pedro Díez del Corral, on DVD.
Adaptation of Elena Fortún's stories: Celia, daughter of a well-off family in early 20th-century Madrid, does not take what adults tell her at face value; she questions the Three Kings, finds grown-ups boring and lives by her own rules. Shot on natural locations in Madrid, it reflects Spanish society of the 1930s.
The 2-DVD edition contains the six episodes of the series (approx. 315 min.), with Spanish audio in Dolby Digital 5.1 and stereo and subtitles in German, English, French, Italian and Portuguese.
Aimed at all audiences, it will appeal to those who want to discover or revisit the television adaptation of Elena Fortún's tales.
