«Casi 300» is the film by Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer (2008), starring Sean Maguire, Diedrich Bader and Kevin Sorbo, on DVD.
A parody of «300» that takes the Spartans' feat to an absurd level: a handful of warriors faces a huge Persian army amid exaggerated choreography, caricatured characters and outlandish situations. The comedy turns the original epic into an ironic spectacle with carefree humour and non-stop gags.
The «uncut» version on Region 2 PAL DVD includes audio and subtitles in Spanish, English and German and runs 83 minutes.
For an adult audience fond of parodies of big box-office hits and no-holds-barred humour.
