«Calabuch» is the Spanish film by Luis García Berlanga, on DVD.
Professor Hamilton, a scientist who believed in the virtues of atomic bombs, flees after regretting his work and takes refuge in the quiet village of Calabuch. There he seeks peace and friendship, far from the destruction his inventions could cause, in a place where life, humour and the serene wait for death have a different meaning.
