«Beverly Hills Cop» is the film by Martin Brest (1984), starring Eddie Murphy, Judge Reinhold and John Ashton, on DVD.
Detroit detective Axel Foley travels to Beverly Hills to investigate the murder of his best friend. His direct style clashes with the local police, who assign him two detectives to keep him in check. The culture clash turns the pursuit into an action-comedy adventure with cameos from Paul Reiser, Bronson Pinchot and Damon Wayans.
Paramount Pictures edition on DVD, with widescreen picture 1.85:1, approximate running time of 101 minutes and audio tracks in English, French, Italian and Spanish.
Recommended for ages 15 and over due to strong language and medium-level violence; for those seeking a classic action-comedy from the 1980s.
