«Bárbaros: Colección Completa» is the history documentary collection published by Llamentol on DVD, with eight discs and 400 minutes.
The documentary explores the history of Vikings, Goths, Mongols, Huns, Lombards, Franks, Vandals and Saxons, peoples considered barbarians by the empires they raided. It combines re-enactments and analysis to show their ways of life, military organisation and their mark on European history, far from the cliché of gratuitous violence.
Standard edition on PAL DVD, region 2. Audio in Spanish and English, with Spanish subtitles; presented in a multi-disc case.
Suitable for history enthusiasts and popular-science documentaries; one review recommends it as a good introduction for those who are not specialists in the subject.
