Asterix and Obelix: God Save Britannia is a 2012 adventure comedy film directed by Laurent Tirard. The film is based on the Asterix in Britain album from the Asterix the Gaul comic book series, and is a sequel to Asterix at the Olympic Games. In this installment, Julius Caesar decides to invade Britain. The Roman general sends his most trusted officer, Bonus Promoplus, to lead an army and conquer the island. However, the Britons resist valiantly, and their queen, Cordelia, sends her most loyal officer, Jolitorax, to seek help in Gaul, where she hopes to find Asterix and Obelix.
