«Arven (Arvet) - Nordic Edition» is the film by Per Fly (2002), starring Ulrich Thomsen, Ghita Nørby and Lars Brygmann, on DVD.
Christoffer, fourth generation of the founding family of the Borch Møller steelworks, left the business to run a restaurant in Stockholm with his wife, the actress Maria. His father's suicide and pressure from his mother Annelise force him to accept the company's leadership; power and conflicting loyalties turn him into a cynical executive.
Second instalment of Per Fly's trilogy on Danish society, after «Bænken». Audio in Danish with Swedish subtitles; running time 100 minutes.
For those who enjoy family drama and Danish cinema; not recommended for under-11s.
