Synopsis of Across the Universe

«Across the Universe» is Julie Taymor's musical film (2007), starring Jim Sturgess, Evan Rachel Wood and Joe Anderson, on DVD.

Musical set in late-1960s America that tells the love story between Jude, a young Liverpool worker, and Lucy, a young American woman linked to the pacifist movement. The Beatles' songs accompany their journey through New York's Greenwich Village, the Detroit riots and the Vietnam War.

2-disc collector's edition with songbook. Audio in Spanish and English 5.1; subtitles in Spanish, French, Arabic and Dutch. Running time: 128 min. Not recommended for children under 7.
