«X representa lo desconocido» is a collection of popular science essays by Isaac Asimov, published by Plaza & Janés in paperback (266 pages, in Spanish).
Seventeen essays in which Asimov addresses questions such as where the centre of the universe is, when Halley's comet will return, or what is wrong with astrology. He also speculates about life forms based on silicon and about the limits of the electromagnetic spectrum, with the expository clarity that characterises his science writing.
The original English title is «X Stands for Unknown» and the work belongs to the Divulgación collection from Plaza & Janés.
Recommended for readers interested in popular science and in Asimov's essayistic side.
