«Wien Architektur und Malerei um 1900» is the art and architecture guide by Christian N. Nebehay, published by Brandstätter in hardback, in German.
Vienna in 1900 serves as the setting for a tour of architecture and painting led by Wagner, Klimt, Moser, Hoffmann, Kokoschka, Olbrich, Schiele and Loos. The book reviews their lives and works, points out memorial sites and collections where their work can be seen, and helps place that legacy in the city.
Second edition. The full subtitle: «Wo finde ich Wagner, Klimt, Moser, Hoffmann, Kokoschka, Olbrich, Schiele, Loos. Leben und Werk, Gedenk- und Wirkungsstätten, Museen und Sammlungen».
For those who want to locate the works and sites of these artists in Vienna and understand their artistic context.
