«Visites d'Atelier: Le peintre & son modèle» is the essay by Benoist Demoriane, published by Editions l'Art-Dit in paperback (130 pages, in French).
For Demoriane, the studio is a place of imagination where he receives his models to draw or photograph them. The author reflects on the transformation of the model into a figure, the gaze and the nude, and in 16 chapters combines writings and photographs with mirror games and motion blurs to pursue the invisible.
This is the first collection of writings and studio notes by Benoist Demoriane. The work was published on 24 September 2022.
For readers interested in art theory, photography and creation in the studio.
