«Transferred» is Isabel De Cordova's practical guide to image transfer, published by Conran in hardback (96 pages, in English).
The book describes a chemical-free decorative technique: scanned or color-photocopied images are transferred with an iron onto fabric, metal, plastic, cardboard, plaster, or glass. It includes 15 home projects, such as tablecloths, ceramics, and curtains, using old photos, letters, children's drawings, or flowers as starting material.
Isabel De Cordova trained as a graphic designer and worked for ten years as a designer of illustrated non-fiction books; «Transferred» is her first book.
Suitable for children and adults who enjoy crafts and want to personalize their home decor.
