«Sonetos a Simeonova» is the poetry collection by Juan Carlos Elijas, published by CreateSpace in 2014, in paperback, with 66 pages in Spanish.
Twenty sonnets with Petrarchan roots, with irony and mystery: white satire in homage to a friend of Juan Carlos Elijas, about a lover abandoned by Simeonova during the economic crisis of the early 21st century. Happiness, personal quest, and a journey through an unknown Europe appear, with mastery of the hendecasyllable and the alexandrine.
For readers of contemporary poetry who appreciate irony, mystery, and play with classical forms.
