«Repensant els jardins històrics» is the collective work by Pere Sala i Martí and Gemma Bretcha, in paperback (210 pages, in Catalan).
The book gathers the papers from an international seminar held in Olot in 2022 on historic gardens as heritage. It analyses little-protected Catalan cases, from cloisters and cemeteries to industrial colonies and summer houses, and proposes recognising them with contemporary tools as identity generators.
Number 8 of the collection «Plecs de Paisatge. Reflexions», published in 2023 by the Landscape Observatory of Catalonia.
For researchers, landscape managers and heritage professionals interested in the conservation of historic gardens.
