«Pour l'amour de Vincent» is the children's picture book by Brenda V. Northeast, published by Mango in hardback (32 pages, in French).
The protagonist is Vincent van Gogh's teddy bear: born in the arms of a future artist, it dreams for him a world of light and colour before Vincent learns to hold a brush. The illustrations, inspired by the Dutch painter's brushstrokes, bring young children closer to the beauty of art and creativity.
«Pour l'amour de Vincent» was published on 15 January 2004 and is part of the Petits Albums collection.
It is intended for children from 3 years old and offers a first introduction to art and the figure of Vincent van Gogh.
