«Papeles para la pequeña y la gran historia» is the memoir by Torcuato Luca de Tena, published by Planeta in paperback (326 pages, in Spanish).
Torcuato Luca de Tena reconstructs the Spain of the 1930s from three perspectives: that of the child who lived through the events, that of his father Juan Ignacio, and that of the adult who judges them. The narrative, focused on the Second Republic and the Civil War, claims his memories as a partial account against other versions.
It belongs to the Espejo de España collection (no. 146) and was a finalist for the Premio Espejo de España 1991. Includes bibliographic references (p. 317) and index.
Work for readers interested in twentieth-century Spanish history, political memory, and Civil War testimonies.
