In his tireless quest to prevent Ragnarök, Odin has amassed a vast arsenal of powers and knowledge. However, to achieve complete omniscience, he must obtain the mead of poetry, a magical drink that grants the gift of words. Informed by his ravens Hugin and Munin, Odin discovers that the mead is in Jötunheim and travels to the land of the giants. There, the magician Suttung jealously protects the brew in an enchanted mountain, guarded by his daughter, Gunnlod. Odin will have to use all his cunning to get the precious mead.
