«Northumbria, el último reino» is the historical adventure novel by Bernard Cornwell, published by Edhasa in hardback (448 pages, in Spanish).
In 866, Uhtred, a young Anglo-Saxon raised among Vikings since being kidnapped, lives divided between two worlds: he knows the rites and beliefs of both Saxons and Danes. His bravery earns him the respect of the Vikings, but his identity becomes a heavy burden. Cornwell combines adventure and historical rigour in a tale of battles.
First instalment of the series «Sajones, vikingos y normandos». Translated by Libertad Aguilera. Published in Barcelona.
