«My Ashmolean Discovery Book» is Alison Honey's activity book, published by Ashmolean Museum in paperback (24 pages, in English).
Activity book for children to discover the objects at Oxford's Ashmolean Museum and the stories they hold: a mummy, Powhatan's mantle, or the connection between a jug and the minotaur. It suggests drawing, designing coins, assembling a samurai armour and repairing a jug with stickers, both at the museum and at home.
Published in December 2009, coinciding with the reopening of the Ashmolean Museum; includes stickers to complete some of the activities.
Recommended for children aged 8 to 11 interested in history, art and museums.
