«Métiers d'autrefois» is an illustrated book by Pierre Bruandet about traditional trades, published in French by Temps apprivoisé.
A documentary work that revives trades of the past: through black-and-white plates and colour scenes, it shows characters with their pack animals, fruit baskets and rural settings, with the aesthetic of a French historical notebook.
A 1996 volume in the Idées Décors Documents collection, with a graphic and documentary approach.
Suitable for readers interested in social history, French culture and decorative arts.
