«Medjugorje» is the historical-religious essay by Jesús García, published by Libros Libres in paperback (270 pages, in Spanish).
Jesús García narrates how Medjugorje, a Catholic village in Yugoslavia, became a pilgrimage centre after the alleged apparitions of the Virgin Mary to some teenagers in 1981. He analyses the phenomenon during the communist dictatorship, who the seers are and why the Catholic Church neither confirms nor denies the events.
It is the seventh edition and its subtitle is «El libro definitivo para comprender por qué más de 30 millones de personas han acudido a un pequeño pueblo de Bosnia-Herzegovina».
For readers interested in the history of the Church, Marian apparitions and major pilgrimage movements.
