«Marzi - Tome 4 - Le bruit des villes» is the autobiographical comic by Marzena Sowa and Sylvain Savoia, published by Dupuis in paperback (48 pages, in French).
Marzena Sowa recounts her childhood in communist Poland in the 1980s. Though the summer is spent in the countryside, echoes of urban unrest reach her: rationing, strikes and Solidarity. Marzi's concerns, shared with the neighbour, the nurse and her mother, intersect with an adult world she does not fully understand.
Fourth volume in the «Marzi» series, written by Marzena Sowa and drawn by Sylvain Savoia. Published by Dupuis in 2008.
A comic for all audiences, aimed at readers of graphic novels and contemporary history interested in 1980s Poland.
