«Los alineamientos de Carnac» is the travel guide by Jean-Pierre Mohen, published by Éditions du Patrimoine in paperback, in Spanish.
A tour of the menhir alignments of Carnac, in Brittany, and of the myths and legends surrounding them. The work presents these monuments as Neolithic temples with a sacred function, explains the society that built them some six thousand years ago, and reviews recent research, which has renewed the way the site is visited.
Work published in 2000 in the Itinéraires collection, dedicated to monuments and heritage sites.
Suitable for travellers and readers interested in history and archaeology who want to understand the megaliths of Brittany.
French archaeologist and prehistorian (1944-2021)
