«Lexicography, Terminology, and Translation» is a volume of linguistic essays in honour of Ingrid Meyer, edited by Lynne Bowker, in paperback.
A tribute volume bringing together text-based essays: most use electronic corpora to study terminology, lexicography and translation, with tools such as translation memories. Others analyse historical and literary manuscripts, and the final chapter extends the concept of text to audiovisual translation and film.
Published by University of Ottawa Press in 2006, in the Perspectives on Translation series. Includes a select bibliography of Ingrid Meyer, bibliographic references and an index.
Intended for linguists, translators and scholars of lexicography and terminology, with an academic and specialised focus.
