«Las Reinas de África» is the historical essay by Cristina Morató, published by Círculo de Lectores in hardback (368 pages, in Spanish).
It brings together the stories of several women who travelled to the African continent and crossed it as explorers. From their experiences, Cristina Morató reconstructs the gaze of these travellers on Africa and its people, composing a collective portrait of exploration in the feminine.

For readers interested in history, women's biographies and travel literature.
