«L'arnaque: Quand l'Amérique rackette la France» is Airy Routier's investigative essay, published by Grasset in hardback (376 pages, in French).
Routier reconstructs the Executive Life case: Crédit Lyonnais, through its subsidiary Altus, bought the Californian insurer and its bond portfolio using nominees, then resold it to Artémis, owned by François Pinault. US justice imposed a multi-million fine on France; the author reveals the manoeuvres behind the process.
Work for those interested in investigative journalism, financial scandals and Franco-American relations.
