«La sombra misteriosa» is the children's shadow theatre book by Antonio de la Fuente Arjona (Ediciones de la Torre, paperback, 61 pages, in Spanish).
This book invites young readers to discover shadow theatre: the shadow that follows and imitates us becomes a playmate. It proposes basic techniques and activities for putting on performances at home or at school, building sets and puppets, inventing characters and exploring new means of expression.
Third title in the Alba y mayo, teatro collection. With illustrations by Juan Manuel García Álvarez. Published in 1995.
Recommended for young readers curious about theatre and the performing arts, and useful for teachers and children's activity leaders.
