«La mort de l'altre: Memòria arran de terra» is the memoir by Teresa Ibars, published by Editorial Comanegra in paperback (192 pages, in Catalan).
The book is born from the impact of watching two very different people die in the same room: the author's life partner and a young man recently arrived from Gambia. From that shock, Teresa Ibars reflects on memory, loss, and identity, and traverses people, smells, landscapes, and ways of life that are fading away.
It is part of the Espores collection, as number 12, and was published on 9 October 2024.
For readers of memoirs and intimate narrative that address grief, identity, and loss.
