«La experiencia de los límites» is Mau Monleón Pradas's essay on sculpture and photography, published by Institució Alfons el Magnànim in paperback.
It analyses how in the eighties artists transgressed traditional categories and moved into a hybrid territory between sculpture and photography. It reviews sculptural attitudes of artists working photographically, photographic sculptures, installations, boxes and constructions, and their relationship with urban public space.
It is part of the Formas plásticas collection and was published in 1999. It includes bibliography and black-and-white and colour photographs.
Aimed at readers of art theory, aesthetics and philosophy of art, with an interest in contemporary creation and hybrid formats.
