«La caza del tiburiente» is Lewis Carroll's narrative poem, published by Kalandraka in paperback (64 pages, in Spanish).
A singular crew sets out in search of a creature almost no one imagines is real. The journey drifts into absurd episodes, implausible maps, nonsensical dialogues and invented words, and in that mix of epic and chaos the tale vindicates, with nonsensical humour, the stubbornness of those who pursue the impossible.
Originally published in 1876. This Spanish edition, translated by Alberto Ruiz de Samaniego and Xabier Meilán, with illustrations by Óscar Villán, belongs to the Rizomas collection.
Recommended for readers aged 10 and up, especially for those seeking children's poetry with wordplay and absurd humour.
