«La Catedral de León: El Sueño del Gótico» is an art and history book by J. Díez, E. Bayón and R. Rodríguez (Edilesa, paperback, 48 pages, in Spanish).
The book brings the reader closer to León Cathedral and explains why it is one of the great works of Spanish Gothic. It reviews the architecture of the temple, its stained glass windows and the historical context in which it was built, and presents the building as the materialisation of the Gothic «dream» that gives the work its title.
Published in 1993. The cover reproduces a black-and-white photograph of the interior nave of the temple, with its vaults and stained glass windows.
Recommended for readers interested in art history, medieval architecture and Spanish Gothic.
