In this book, Eric Edelmann invites us on a fascinating journey to the heart of the original teachings of Jesus, based on the Peshitta, the Aramaic version of the Gospels used by Christians in Iraq, Syria, and Lebanon. The author explores the Semitic background of the Gospels, arguing that Jesus' words were misrepresented to serve the interests of Rome. Edelmann updates and reviews these teachings, offering a manual of inner life that nourishes the legacy of Jesus and returns his lost word to us.
