«Huesos olvidados» is the mystery and suspense novel by Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child, published by Plaza & Janés in paperback (352 pages, in Spanish).
Archaeologist Nora Kelly searches for the «Campamento perdido» of the Donner expedition, the pioneers trapped in California in 1847 who left few survivors and rumours of cannibalism. A victim's diary guides the excavation; a truth emerges that connects the past with current crimes and brings FBI agent Corrie Swanson to the case.
First instalment of the Nora Kelly series. The original English title is «Old Bones». The translation is by Efrén del Valle Peñamil.
For readers of historical thrillers and mysteries with an archaeological backdrop, and for followers of Preston & Child.
