«Generación sénior y mentoría» is the education essay by María Jesús Comillas i Carbó, published by Octaedro in paperback (160 pages, in Spanish).
Social changes have redefined old age: the senior generation, formerly the «third age», now has more education and experience. The work proposes recognising their knowledge and giving them an active mentoring role in research at institutes, universities and social institutions, through multigenerational relationships.
It belongs to the Con vivencias collection and is the first edition of 2017. It includes contributions from specialists in health, economics, ethics and education.
Aimed at teachers, educators and social-sector professionals working with older people or on intergenerational projects.
