«Gay» is Alberto Ramos's illustrated poetry collection, published by Independently published in paperback (216 pages, in Spanish).
The book claims representation and a voice of its own for the LGBTQ+ community. It stems from the lack of words in which to recognize oneself and weaves text and images to speak of lived experience, of the untold, and of what comes after. The back cover invites only those who have longed to love and be seen to open it.
Written and illustrated by Alberto Ramos; published on May 23, 2019. ISBN 9781096012528.
A book for those seeking their own references in LGBTQ+ literature and poetry that speaks of the experience of loving and being seen.
