«El Zohar» is an anthology of the Kabbalah from the Testigo de la Tradición collection, published by Ediciones Obelisco in paperback (288 pages, in Spanish).
A masterwork of the Kabbalah, also called The Book of Splendour, it is attributed to Rabbi Simeon bar Yochai although its composition is set in thirteenth-century Castile. This anthology brings together essential pages of a text that later Kabbalists have placed on a par with the Torah or the Talmud, a source of Hebrew esoteric teaching.
With a translation by Carles Giol, the work was published in 1996; the cover shows the 6th edition.
For readers interested in the Kabbalah, Jewish mysticism and the Hebrew esoteric tradition.
