«El rey Arturo. El Guerrero de Occidente» is the historical fiction novel by M. K. Hume, published by Alianza Editorial in paperback (512 pages, in Spanish).
The story begins twelve years after Artor was crowned king of the Britons. The monarch, who has managed to unify the tribes of Celtic Britain, sees his kingdom endangered by the intrigues of his wife Wenhaver, the so-called Guinevere, while his power weakens. The construction of the fortress of Cadbury Tor will give rise to the legend of Camelot, but a series of betrayals and the absence of Merlin plunge him into a difficult dilemma.
It is the second instalment of the «El rey Arturo» saga by M. K. Hume, published by Alianza Editorial in 2012 within the Alianza Literaria (AL) collection.
Recommended for readers of historical fiction novels interested in Arthurian legends with a realistic approach and far from magic.
