«El nuevo pequeño gran libro de la ignorancia» is the book of curiosities by John Lloyd and John Mitchinson, published by Ediciones Paidós in paperback.
A collection of curious facts arising from the BBC programme «QI». It questions many ideas assumed to be true through everyday questions: who made the first flight, how many legs an octopus has, or what the real colour of oranges is. With an informative tone, the work invites readers to question what we think we know.
It is the second volume in the series «The Quite Interesting Ignorant Books», within the «Contextos» collection from Paidós. It includes a foreword by Stephen Fry and a translation by Montserrat Asensio Fernández.
Suitable for curious readers who admit they do not know everything and want to test myths and false certainties.
John Hardress Wilfred Lloyd is an English producer and writer of television and radio comedy. His television work includes Not the Nine O'Clock News, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Blackadder, Spitting Image and QI. He presents BBC Radio 4's The Museum of Curiosity.
