«El códice azteca» is an essay by John Major Jenkins and Martin Matz, published by Zenith in hardback (232 pages, in Spanish).
In 1961, Beat poet Martin Matz travelled to Oaxaca and a shaman showed him the Pyramid of Fire, an Aztec codex hidden since the Spanish conquest. Matz put that pictorial code into words to spread its metaphysical teachings. The book recounts the discovery, includes the full text and reveals the Mayan-Aztec spiritual legacy.
Full title as on the cover: «El códice azteca: la iniciación espiritual de la Pirámide de Fuego». Work published in 2005 in the Enigmas y Conspiraciones collection.
Work aimed at readers interested in Mesoamerican culture, spirituality and historical mysteries.
