Raquel Tibol analyses Diego Rivera's work as an illustrator of books and periodicals, beyond his murals. The volume reproduces numerous images and reviews his themes —modernist poetry, politics, Mexican folklore and pre-Columbian America— as a journey through Mexican art of the first half of the 20th century.
This is the first edition, published in 2007 in Lumen's Memorias y biografías collection; it consists of 318 pages in paperback.
It is aimed at readers interested in Diego Rivera, Mexican muralism, editorial illustration and artist biographies.
