«De mayor, youtuber» is the essay by Pablo Moreno Acevedo, published by CreateSpace Independent Publishing Platform in paperback (132 pages, in Spanish).
The book analyses the youtuber phenomenon and its social impact: a person can gather more audience than a television channel or a newspaper. With cases such as El Rubius, AuronPlay or Wismichu, it explains how YouTube has changed the rules of communication and has turned youtubers into referents for a generation that already wants to be a youtuber.
The work includes a prologue by Agustín Grau and collaborations by Diego Galilea, Juan Merodio and Pepe Romera. Pablo Moreno Acevedo is a digital marketing consultant and creator of the blog Fuera Códigos.
For readers who want to understand YouTube's success and the role of content creators; it is not a guide to becoming a youtuber.
