«Come y calla... o no» is the essay on responsible consumption by the Centre de Recerca i Informació en Consum (CRIC), published by Icaria editorial in paperback.
Is it possible to consume ethically if companies are mainly seeking profit? The book answers yes and brings together practices of people who contribute to their environment without profit motive. It argues that ethics and economic activity are compatible and proposes including corporate behaviour among purchasing criteria.
It has 104 pages; it is number 22 in the Más Madera collection, in its Economics series. It was published in Barcelona in May 2000.
It interests those seeking more ethical consumption and who want to see with examples how purchasing decisions can affect the system.
