In December 1889, the legendary Buffalo Bill arrives in Barcelona to present his grandiose circus show, The Wild West Show, after being the main attraction for six months at the Universal Exposition of Paris and obtaining resounding success. The city of Barcelona must be the first and radiant stage of a long tour that will take the show throughout Europe. However, bad weather and a flu epidemic change expectations. Soon, the apparent apathy that had seized the city will crumble when one of the Indian women of the show, the secret daughter of the mythical Sioux chief Crazy Horse, is kidnapped. Pol Vidal, a young journalist who has been commissioned to interview Buffalo Bill, must then discover the scandalous motives that lie behind the disappearance of the girl and will need Buffalo Bill to really become the hero that writers and journalists had imagined in order to rescue her before it is too late. Jordi Solé recreates an anecdotal and little-known event in the history of Barcelona, developing a vertiginous and dark plot on a solid backdrop in which the society of the time is faithfully reflected, parading through its pages characters of the stature of Antoni Gaudí, Isaac Peral, Santiago Russiñol and Lluís Millet.
